A small community visit centred on children, learning materials and listening to families.
In August 2026, Child of Hope Children's Foundation visited Bumbo village in Namisindwa District and shared scholastic materials with a group of children. The visit was intentionally simple: meet children and families where they are, listen to the barriers affecting learning, and provide practical support that can make the next school day a little easier.
For us, an exercise book or other school item is not the whole solution. It is one part of a wider commitment to understand why a child may be struggling to participate in education and, where possible, connect that child and family to appropriate follow-up support.
These photographs document the learning-support visit and the children who received materials that day.

We want to move beyond isolated support and help vulnerable children stay in school with consistent follow-up.
