We work alongside children, caregivers and communities to remove barriers to education, wellbeing and protection—one family at a time.
Child of Hope Children's Foundation is a Ugandan community-based organisation. We identify practical barriers affecting vulnerable children and work with families, schools, health providers and local volunteers to respond responsibly.
Our story
Children rarely face one challenge at a time. Our work connects education, protection, health, nutrition and family resilience.
We keep our public numbers simple and distinguish ongoing support from one-off outreach. Detailed activity evidence is maintained for donor and partner reporting.

Our 12-month flagship pilot is designed to help 100 vulnerable children across five Ugandan districts enter or remain in school, with wellbeing, safeguarding and family follow-up built into the model.

During a recent community visit to Bumbo village, our team spent time with children and families and shared scholastic materials with a group of children. It was a modest activity, but one that reflects how Child of Hope wants to work: close to families, responsive to practical needs and focused on helping children keep moving forward in education.
